Bloody cop gave me 5 defects!
1. Wheels Oversize
2. Exhaust too loud
3. Gauge mounted on A Pillar
4. Rip in drivers seat
5. No rubber on pedals
Defects Fixed...
1. Pedals
2. Tacho now in dash
3. Sewed up hole, waiting for seatcovers
4. I have an engineers certificate now for the rims and exhaust, it cost me $450!!! Atleast the cops can't touch me now...
5. $150 got me this muffler installed, it took the idling db from 94 down to 74!

Below is pictures of the car before i got to it, i bought it off ebay for $1225 and freighted it up from Melbourne. It was unregistered when i bought it but now it is driven regularly and registered. I have installed a sound system with pioneer 6x9" speakers up the back, pioneer 6" front speakers and a pioneer head unit, recently installed Clarion subwoofers and Clarion amplifier.
One of the first things i plan to do is change the steering wheel, as this one is very uncomfortable.
The car has a stock 1.2L pushrod engine making approximately 54kW!! This thing is unbelievably slow but you just can't go past the shape of oldskool sedans.
It has air conditioning, unfortunately it doesn't work, it needs regassing and a new bearing and belt, maybe in the future i will get this done but it's not a major priority.
