RIP SEXY NELLY

Well folks, the sexy nelly is officially out of commision. Due to my pressure plate messing up, I had to start my car in gear and turn it off and on at all stop signs and red lights, and that caused my starter to lock up. Also I managed to rack up over 300,000 miles on the motor and it was wearing out big time. Not to mention getting severly vandalized at Rum Jungle when I got too drunk to drive her home one night. Someone busted out the windows and stole everything out of her. And to make it all worse, this all happened on my birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME! So I took the spoiler off and she's just sitting in the parking lot now, waiting on the repo man. For now I'm driving a crappy 1988 Pontiac Sunbird (aka The Sunturd) I'm not really complaining cause it was free. But I am in the market for a second gen neon so if youre anywhere near North Alabama and you have a good one for sale, hit me up! Ok well I haven't really done much to my neon in the last few weeks, money's been tight. But I will have some new pics up in the next few days so keep a look out for them. I'm gonna paint my interior this weekend so I'll have some pics of that up soon too. I'm looking for a body kit so if anybody knows where to find a nice one for a good price let me know.

The spoiler is finally on! After waiting forever to find someone to borrow a drill from I fianally got my Dad off his ass to let me use his.

It's Alive!

Well folks I did it! I fixed the sexy nelly! Come to find out it was just the timing belt and luckily since it broke while I was sitting at a red light it didn't warp the pistons. While I was at it I went ahead and replaced a couple little thigs that have been acting up and she's running better than ever. I never knew how packed everything was under the hood till now! I mean we thought we were gonna have to take the axle out just to get the alternator out! Luckily I got it out without too much trouble but it did involve buying a new puller to get the pulley off. We only had a two arm when we needed a three. But hey, it's running now and I'm happy. By the way, I love my Daddy and my Papaw. They helped out a lot.

PAINTING THE INTERIOR!
I NEED HELP! I wanna paint my interior but I've heard of so many ways and I want to know what is the best method. I've been told to sand and primer it and I was also told that I didn't have to sand and primer it. Also I have no idea of what kind of paint to use. So please! If you have any tips for me they would be greatly appreciated! Just leave the instructions in my guestbook.

This is my 1995 Plymouth Neon. I just started fixing it up so I know it looks pretty sad. My plans are to shave the door handles and find me a nice spoiler then have it painted hot pink (SEXY!) So far all I've done on it is sanded and primered the rusty spots. I'm also planning on redoing to whole interior in pink and white and I'm shopping for pink lights to go in it right now. 06/04/04 Ok right after I wrote this I was lookin around on this site and I found a kick ass wing for a damn good price so I ordered it. Check back in a few days and I'll have the pic of my car with the wing up.

I got my spoiler the other day! We opened up the box and they sent me the wrong instructions so we had to pretty much play it by ear. After about an hour of messing with it we realized that it was backwards. DUH! But we eventually got it put together right and now I'm just waiting on us to both have the same day off so we can get the holes drilled and get this thing put on here so check back in a few days cause hopefully I'll have some pics of it up.
