Grant's Mitsubishi Galant

This is my 1990 Mistubishi Galant. One of the few Aussie ones here!
My baby runs a 2-litre 4g63 engine with a DOHC. Not the fastest of cars, but I got it up to 164km/h on an open road without any problems at all.

The Aussie GSR was released with electronic controlled suspension. Not sure about other countries. Unfortunately it costs about $650 AUD per wheel to replace. So I just put in pedders sports shockies and springs in.

I've also had problems with the electrics in the car. The heat and fuel gauges die when the engine is warm, turned off, then started again. But they work fine when the car is started from cold, anybody got any suggestions?
Installed a Mongoose alarm/immob system. Its got keyless door and boot entry, microwave and shock sensors inside and outside the car and window lift cos Im lazy!
Most of the stuff i have done to the car has been cosmetic. Have removed a fair bit of rust out of front bumper and roof, taken out a few dings and given a few areas a re-spray. Have also done lots to it mechanically, but thats another story!
Before & After
Also notice the VR-4 grill. Looks tonnes better than the standard GSR one. Have also got a spare VR-4 grill if anyones interested cos i know they can be hard to get hold of.

Exhaust
When I first bought the car, the guy told me it previously had a full sports exhaust but he took it off cos it was too noisy. I asked wether he still had any of it and he said 'I threw all that shit out', nearly cried :(
However this meant I was left with a fairly new stock system which he probly would have paid a bit for. One of the first things I did was take it to get to get a quote for another one, but I soon learnt that I would have to settle for just a duel sports tip cos Im still only 19 and my insurance company would not insure me with the full system! Still sounds ok tho.

Interior & Sound System
The interior has been very well looked after. Even if I have had to replace a few little things such as door locks and switches, there were areno rips or burns in the dash, seats or carpets. The only thing i would like to change would be the dash lights to white.

Would love a nice pioneer or JVC system but these things take time and the X-Plod does the job for the time being.
Speakers are ok. 2 x 6" 180w three way in rear parcel and 2 x 4" 120w in the dash.
Wheels
ROH 17" Strada's. Not the ones I really wanted but i like the star look.
