The engine is a Red 202 onto M20 4 speed manual gearbox.

Crossmember is back in the car with the new shockies and new bushes.

Engine with crome tappet cover and sideplates, painted extractors, reconditioned WW Stromberg, and new air filter.

The speakers are 6"x9" and 6" Pioneer, the head unit is Pioneer 200watt mp3 player, the sub is 12" 600watt Clarion, and the amp is 760watt Pioneer, 2 channel bridgable.

Car has been resprayed the original Metallic Jade green, had all the rust and dents removed and also had the badges shaved.

New hood linning, and the windows were tinted.

Motor and Gearbox back in.
Motor was reconditioned by Gem Engines about 30,000k's ago.
Gear box was fitted with a lightened flywheel and one tonner clutch setup.

Put some front seats in that came out of a *cough* Hyundai Sonata. Vynil with Leather inserts, with electric drivers side so there not all that bad. Alot more comfortable then the orginal ones aswell.

New 205/60 tyres for the 13" Hotwire wheels.

Great project and it's nice to see such a damn clean looking six banger! :) I think you'll need to look for some larger wheels though, because the 13"s won't look the best with the flares installed. Can't wait to see the whole car finished!

Hi Matt, you've really got a nice car there, a terrific colour that you don't see around much now. Goes great with chrome & gold. I'd keep it the same colour and keep it looking original. You are doing the right thing by taking your time and fixing the basics - you will be paid back with fun & reliability. Cheers, Ian

the plates on my car on my page are show plates bud, if u want a set they are about $25 from ur local trading post! its got ordinary plates underneath!

Changing colour completely is a lot of work bud, if ur gonna do it be prepared for some problems, best of luck anyway with whatever u choose to do, its a good starting point for a top streeter.
