11/1/07 NOTE: The entire system has been ripped out for weight savings. I've gone back to a decent Kenwood had unit and Pioneer and Kenwood speakers with a small 8" sub mounted in the rear deck. Yanking all this stuff saved me 60+ pounds which in a quarter mile definitely helps. I'm leaving this page up though for others to see what I did do.

Audio Upgrades
4ga wire to battery and frame (upgrade form stock 6ga), 8's for each amp.
Alpine CDA-7995 head unit (FM/AM/CD/MP3 3 preamp out, no internal amp).
Alpine MRV-M545 4 channel amp (verified at 167w@4ohm x 4)
MB Quart PSD-216 Premium components up front.
MB Quart RCE-216 Refrence components in rear.
MB Quart RWE-204 Dual Voice Coil 8" Sub in rear deck.
B-Quite sound deadening throughout.
KnuKonceptz.com wiring throughout.

Heres the seats removed to put in some B-Quiet and to run my power/RCA/speaker wires: VSeven's 2001 Saturn SC-Series

MB Quart PSD216's - 6.5" woofer in the doors and a surface mount 1" tweeter. The crossovers are mounted under the radio and I have 12 and 16 guage wire running through the factory rubber grommets out to the speakers: VSeven's 2001 Saturn SC-Series

The rear deck has the refrence series components on each side with the 8" mounted right to the rear deck after some fun wood cutting and cutting of the rear deck metal: VSeven's 2001 Saturn SC-Series

A simple amp rack I built for the amp and the rear crossovers: VSeven's 2001 Saturn SC-Series
