1.) Alpine CDA-7998 headunit with RCA in as AUX

4.) Mini-PC

- usb GPS is only a purchase away!
One incredible device!
***Size is equal to a CD player! believe it!***
- Also Bought a rare CHEAP find in virra its a windows remote! I've got two options for input now, either the touchscreen or IR remote. This way even passengers at the back can control the system and view the screens thru additional LCD's installed into the headrests (to be added later on). Best of all, NO DRIVERS or Software installation required! all buttons are mapped already by windows default as well.
XP knows this device already in prep I guess for the media center edition remotes.

- did wiring on the console to prepare
for the lilliput 7" touchscreen and
spare RCA input/outputs for mini-CPU.
- Stock Headunit (occupied 2 DINs) was removed and replaced with the Alpine headunit and casonic in-dash TV).
Mini-CPU and Lilliput touchscreen will be arriving on wednesday! cant wait!
Mini-CPU will be able to use the
touchcreen as monitor and also do a
video out via RCA to primary in-dash TV.
- Stock speakers were also removed and New infinity Kappa Perfect 5.1 speakers were installed. My old sub tube was also installed. As well as the alpine v12 amp and soundstream sub amp. Whole installation took 7 hrs. (9am till 4pm straight, no break)

- Didnt waste anytime installing the units and cleaning/hiding up the wires.
Here are some rough quick shots of the setup under bad lighting! will post better ones soon. Btw, I also had a spare freestanding Lilliput 7" LCD TV laying around so I used a rare find bracket accessory from virra to mount it behind one of the headrests. The video output to the added TV behind the headrest is coming from the in-dash casonic TV. When the MiniPC is powered up on the VGA monitor, it also outputs the RCA signals to the in-dash casonic TV then in turn the built-in video/audio output of the casonic also passes the signal on to the lcd behind the headrest.

Legend for Image on right:
1.) In-dash Casonic LCD TV with 4 AV IN and 1 AV OUT
2.) Lilliput 7" USB Touchscreen
3.) Lilliput 7" LCD TV with 1 AV IN
4.) 4-PORT USB HUB
(for joysticks/usb Wifi/Mass storage/Card readers/Infrared Remote Control/External USB DVD-ROM/CD-RW)
5.) External USB DVD-ROM/CD-RW Drive
6.) Location of Mini-PC hidden in a tray below the front passenger seat.
* Below 4&5 is where the Power inverter is, as well as the power adapter of the Mini-PC.
