Welcome to my Celica GT-R page
I'm From New Zealand, and the GT-R celica (from what i can gather) is the same as the US spec GTS. It has a 140hp series 1 3S-GE with TVIS etc etc.
My one has 250000kms on it roughly, and the engines rather screwed, my gearbox has no 2nd gear either.
But next weekend...A NEW ENGINE!!
I managed to pick up a 1984 toyota vista (camry in the US) from a wrecker for $500, with a mint as 3S-GE 5spd! The engines currently sitting on the floor ready to be dropped into my Celica next weekend.
NEW ENGINE INSTSTALLED!!!
Yes the camry engine is now in the celica, after 2 weekends of swaping bits and pieces over the new 3SGE is in, and wow the TVIS actually works on this motor!!! AND I have 2nd gear :) such a luxury lol

That dash is awesome dude...i have a 86 GTR in welly, i brought mine for $950 then paid $220 for a new gearbox and now its completly insane, when its wet it spins till 3rd and gets off the clock in 4th gear. Did you just take the dash out and paint? also where did you get your springs?
