It's replacement was also a black M6 1994 Z28. Bought it on the cheap before I realized I was going to need it. Freak accident left me with a car the looked alot like an accordion, and has taught me the importance of ARP wheel studs, even on a 10 bolt. So far I've managed to shear a wheel off and two different occasions, one left and one right.

I dont have current pics, but the car now has these additional modifications:
3" true dual exhaust
382ci LT1 stroker (3.8" stroke, 4" bore)
233/239 cam on a 112 LSA, .566/.577 lift
same rocker arms and Lloyd Elliott ported heads
58mm Edlebrock throttle body
30# SVO fuel injectors
Aeromotive AFPR
Delteq ignition system
ceramic coated Hooker LT headers
custom 3" dual exhaust by me

engine made 382 RWHP/RWTQ before adding the exhaust, 58MM throttle body, delteq and porting the intake. By a guess I'll say it's got about 430 at the wheels now. The mods made a big difference, mostly the exhaust since I found a collapsed area in my old y-pipe from road junk.

A replacement engine is already in the works. I've made an adapter that allows you to use a SBC in place of an LT1 using LT1 FI with minimal modification. For the most part, it's bolt-in and go. Replacement engine is a 434 stroker, Dart Little M block, 4" internally balanced 4340 crank, H beam rods with 7/16 rod bolts, and MAHLE pistons with a metric ringset for reduced drag. The top end I had for this was a set of ported Dart Pro 1 230 heads with 2.08/1.6 valves, comp 977 springs, and an Accel Pro-ram single plane EFI intake with an intakeelbows.com adapter, but I am considering changing the pistons to have SB2.2 valve reliefs AS WELL AS SBC to take advantage of the cubic inches and to allow a future head swap without replacing the pistons. Cam will be a solid roller billet 4/7 swap ground on an LT1 core by Cam Motion, custom spec'd to head flow characteristics. I'm planning on upgrading the trans with a 30 spline output shaft and a fresh rebuild with steel shift forks, high quality pads for the shift forks, and other modifications. Havent decided on the clutch. Rearend is going to be a Strange Dana 60 with 3.73 gears and a posi, and the car is getting fresh bushings up front as well as Strano springs, swaybars front and rear and Koni adjustable front struts and rear shocks. This will likely take time and I plan on stripping the car down to the body to accomplish this since I planned on new paint at the same time. B-pillar, headlight doors, mirrors and tailpanel will be black, the rest from the hood and spoiler down will be 2004 C5 spiral gray metallic. I'll be getting rid of the current wheels and going with 17x9.5/17x11 black ZR1 wheels with drag radials in the back, and I'll be using the current SS hood and the LS1 SS spoiler to create an SS clone. Lots of work planned, lots of parts bought, just waiting on a place where I can do it!

I'm considering either buying another car and starting from scratch, or using the leftover parts from this build to modify another car. I havent decided, I have a few months left to do that.
