First lemme tell ya how I went about getting this car... My brother, who is in desperate need for money, moved out on his own and made friends with a guy who was moving out west. The guy told him "You can either sell the car, and keep the money, or drive it around for yourself". Like I said before, he needed money, so he told me that I could have the car, and his old sound system outta the truck he rolled for $500. So, I said "Sure... why not!".
So from this deal I got a car that runs (somewhat)
a Kenwood KDC-1225 CD-Player,
an 800W KAC-7201 Kenwood Amp,
and 2 450W 15" Memphis Subs. All and all, not a bad deal!
Friend of mine had to redesign the box for my subs, so they would actually FIT in my car, and he had er rigged up pretty good... But during the process of taking the subs outta the old box, somebody decided they would drop a cordless drill right in the middle of the sub :(... But thats what warranty and a good friend in the Car audio business is for! :D
But to jump ahead in time, I started to get a lil bored with just 2 subs, so I added another one, and another one. In the end I will have 4 15" Memphis Subs, crammed into the trunk of a 1990 Dodge Spirit... CAN YOU SAY CRAMPED???

And with more subs, must come more amps... so I picked up an M-Class 400W Memphis Amp to run my dual coil sub, that I got by mistake.
Since my Dad doesn't like the boom as much as I do, I spent a couple extra bucks and got a REMOTE GAIN.
But ya know, it just seemed like something was STILL missing... I wasn't getting as much boom as you think that you would get from 3 15" subs... So I had a lil talk with my buddy, and he said I should pick up a deck with "SUB OUT", I hummed, and I hawed, and I said "Yeah, what the heck!" so I got myself a Kenwood Excelon KDC-X579... NOW HERE IS A DECK IF YOU EVER WANNA SEE ONE!!!!
This baby makes ur BRAIN RATTLE! Its got soooo many diff functions, I gotta keep the manual handy to figure out how to change all of them!
Now that you've heard my calm voice, you couldn't get another Spirit to come CLOSE!
