Hi folks. This is the story of a car; 84-Chevy Camaro Z-28.Grey on grey, 305 engine, custom 3" exhaust, mint all the way.Cookinbass2's 1984 Chevrolet Camaro

The story begins when I bought my girlfriend's red 84 camaro off her for $3k. It had a bit of rust, but ran great. stock 4 barrel 305. I loved that car, however after a few years the rust got REALLY bad on the rear quarters and the doors..and well, the front quarters. I regret never fixing it when I had the chance. But that's history and theres no going back now.

Cookinbass2's 1984 Chevrolet Camaro I did get some cool mags for it along the way 17" American racing if I remember right. Anyway, I wanted to finally get her fixed up. Every body shop I showed it too said it was basically a restoration project now.

But then my friend at the tire store tells me of a neighbour of his who does backyard jobs on the side. In preparation for this I buy a temp. car for cheap because I figure it's gonna be a while until I get my Camaro back.

Enter 79' Malibu Classic totally stock but runs fine and I figure I can make a hotrod later. Well, then I'm trying and trying to reach this guy to do my camaro. Apparently he couldn't do it because his wife's pregnant and he can't start any projects. OK...now I'm pissed at the world. I let my Camaro get rusty, can't afford a restorationCookinbass2's 1984 Chevrolet Camaro and the guy I want to fix it can't do it because his wife is going to have a baby. So I search out another.

Well I found one. A Z-28 in the back of this car lot with a 10k sticker on it. NO NO I didn't pay that relax. I did however pay $6,000.00 for it. At the time I knew it was too much, but as you know, sometimes it's not the price but what your getting and I REALLY liked this Z-28.

story continues...

Keep that one safe! I see less and less Camaros everyday. Between wrecks and thefts, the F-body is becoming a scarce commodity. Check out my 96 Z when u get time.
