We bought our 2004 Flame Red SRT-4 on 4/30/04. She is a joy and absolutely beautiful!

She is still bone stock, except we did buy her with mopar tail lights from Dodge.

For those of you who don't know, the SRT-4 is a very very fast "neon".

It has a much more race like suspension,(though stll smooth enough for everyday driving; not unforgiving either) and among other things the engine. Yes, as you can clearly see that it doesn't even hardly resemble a neon, and neither does its punch. Up from a 2.0L SOHC, to a 2.4L DOHC Twin-cam Turbocharged Straight-four.
Packing a TD04-L-16GK turbo, and an air-to-air Valeo intercooler, this "neon" kicks ass by the horns. $21,000 gets you 230hp and 250pnd ft. of torque developed at 2400rpm. This FWD "neon" will thrust ought' to 60 in 5.3 seconds. Surprisingly it gets 23-26MPG combined. If you are getting a new car and haven't check out an SRT-4, hurry. Supply for 2004 is running out.
