Performance Mods

My first mod was a used Coldz intake.

Robb235's 1995 Chevrolet Monte Carlo It looks pretty ugly since I spilled windshield washer fluid all over it.

My next mod was the FFP Underdrive pulley along with the 3800 alternator pulley.

Robb235's 1995 Chevrolet Monte Carlo You can see the UD pulley at the bottom of the picture and the alternator pulley at the top. People say that with both the UD pulley and alt. pulley you can still use your stock belt size, but I had to get a half inch shorter since my stock belt was slipping.

My most recent mod is my Milzy Motorsports exhaust. I HIGHLY recommend this exhaust for anyone with a 5th or 6th generation Monte Carlo. You can find him at MyMonte.com username MilzyZ34.

MMS Exhausts usualy come with the twister race muffler, however I opted for the Magnaflow 2 1/2" inlet/ Dual 2 1/4". I also replaced my stock cat with a 2 1/2" inlet/outlet Catco cat.

Though this really isn't a "mod" these center console lids do tend to break alot on these cars.

Yup: the numbers on the Monte with the Spider wing were way off. I have a 98 Z34 with a self fabricated Ram Air/K&N my best track times were 15.9 lowest (86 mph plus change) and my worst at 16.3(82 mph plus change) Thats with the 3.8.... factory rated at 200 horse, so good call, his numbers are a little off. Plus my curb weight is just under 3400lbs with much removed interior as it is road course raced more than the quarter mile. Took it to the track on import day...beat a lot of stock stuff but got in 16 runs due to low car count on a cool day...ideal for racing and gave me a good baseline. Check out ole #3 when you get a chance.
