*update*
The Jeep has been sold, after getting side swiped while pulling into our yard. (they guy tried passing me with my left turn signal on). So we bought a '93 Grand Cherokee 4.0L HO.

The time came for Ange and I to sell the Tercel ('95 DX 4-dr 5-spd..sorry, reflex) for something bigger, and a lot sturdier. With a full grown German Shepheard (Buffy) the little Toyota was looking smaller than ever. Add plans to have pups of our own soon, and you realise the econo-buster must go.
So we looked for sommething bigger. Minivans make both of us cringe, so that was out. Wagons, we're children of the 80's. Have you seen 80's wagons? O_o Bad memories.
Let's get a Jeep! It's not an SUV by todays standards. It's a real rugged unit with a car interior. They need maintenance, as I've noticed with most Cherokees we looked at. Most with a scary ticking in the valvetrain. But this one was straight as an arrow, and we had my brother (mechanic) go over it with a fine tooth comb and we found nothing major. A small leak in the diff cover. A minor amount of oil on the middle of the transfer case and the need of a tune up. Only 193k km on a 1991 limeted.

We bought it wednesday, and we had an offroad adventure already (Saturday)!
Kickass! Check pg2 when it's done.
But check this picture of me pulling a big GMC 4X4 out of the skeg (3rd time I decided to get a picture). That Ford took a while getting out.
