brickyard 400 version
This was a brickyard 400 car because I have the paperwork that was required for that(parade permits etc.) But the decals were removed before I got it. (though the sticker residue was still there in the shape of the decals!)
It had about 200 miles on it when I bought it
I have replaced the dried-out white vinyl top with new black cloth and I think it looks much better - I did it myself and it was not easy, but I hate paying someone else to do things I can do myself...
It is all stock except for K&N filter
ZZZZooooooooom !
October '04 - BOOOOO
A 91 GMC Suburban "hearse" just hit me. Nice enough guy, but he had been driving all night from Kansas to pick up a body in Texas and didn't see me in his sudden quest for a Waffle House...
Of course, his Suburban is barely scratched...

January '01 - BOOOOO
A Pontiac Gran Am just hit me. Nice enough gal (Terry was her name), but she didn't see me in her sudden quest for a freeway entrance ramp...

Refurbed the lenses - see the process here: http://picasaweb.google.com/burntair/1999CamaroZ28HeadlightLensRefurb#

She was pretty darn "Clean at this point - near 100k miles...

Final moments for my baby... still makes me sick
