The plans I have for this car are to paint it the factory Light Pewter Metallic she came with, no hood stripes or Hocky stripes ( I think they look ugly and take away from the 71-73's beauty) just the mach1 badging and the trunk stripe she came with.

just like in these pics :)

For the interior I plan on leaving the black carpet, Vermillion door panels and other vermillion pieces, the only thing im changin is the seats.

I want to go with the red and black S197 seat, I think they would look pretty nice. might have to see how the 2010 console fits too.

I have plans for the engine and transmission too, but I dont really want to say anything just yet because I havent seen it done (dont want my idea riped off) and I dont have the money to put it in.  I do have the engine and trans sitting in my kitchen tho, just no place to work on the car.... :(

I bought 2 sets of 2003/2004 Mach 1 rims one for my 1996 Mustang and one for the Mach.

Very nice project car and my favourite bodyshape `Royal Horse`!.. good luck with the resto work!..oh hell what a job it was to restore mine..had to import spares from USA,cost an arm and a leg and also had to wait months for spares to arrive in South Africa..but it was worth it!...keep me posted on the progress..can`t wait to see the end result...at least you are practically on the doorstep of the Mustang spares shops....lovely seats to planning to put in!
