April, You have a good, solid, all original Q-code Mach 1 to work with. If you restore it the way it came from the factory, it will be worth over $30,000. However, if you know that you will never sell it, then customize it how you wish. It will mean a lot to you, being your mothers car. I had a Cadillac 500 in my 72 Mustang.

Since I recently purchased a 1972 Mach 1 (August 09) I wanted to create a place where other Mach 1 owners had a place to call there own from around the world! I searched the net trying to find a place that was pretty much exclusive to the Mach 1 and found that there isn't any. What we hope to accomplish with this site is to have all available information and tech info for the Mach 1. There are a lot of Mustang websites on the internet but this is the place to gather all the Mach 1 information in one place! Come Join The Club! Mach1Club.com Please feel free to list your website on our site as well! SWEET MACH 1 BTW!!!

Very nice project car and my favourite bodyshape `Royal Horse`!.. good luck with the resto work!..oh hell what a job it was to restore mine..had to import spares from USA,cost an arm and a leg and also had to wait months for spares to arrive in South Africa..but it was worth it!...keep me posted on the progress..can`t wait to see the end result...at least you are practically on the doorstep of the Mustang spares shops....lovely seats to planning to put in!
