I kinda let this project sit for awhile in storage and haven't touched her for a year since I got my new ride.
Since I started upgrading parts on the Mazdaspeed, my Samurai project has taken a slight turn.
My New vision includes a Swift Gt motor swap with the Garrett T25 turbo that was just removed from my Mazdaspeed Protege.
The T25 will be rebuilt with the internals from a GT28RS, I'll most likely run around 7 psi. That should be good for 175hp!!!
In a 2wd Samurai that will feel like a rocket!!

These are just a few before shots of our first winter together.

Hey man thanks for checking out the project. When I said first I meant to do the setup I am attempting, such as lowered on 22's, fully custom bodykit, lambo doors, shaved doors etc, and of coarse 400-500 WHP, all on the samurai. I know there are ALOT of boosted sammys out there. People have been turbocharging samurais for some time, way before you did. Check those spanish guys, you'll see what I mean. I bet that samurai must be an animal tho. Great work so far, hope you find time to complete the project. Bless.
