This is my 1987 Suzuki Samurai. I bought it for $750 with 130,000 miles on it. It runs great. I plan to build-up this rig for wheelin'. Here is a list of the mods I have planned for it:

New olive green paint job
Internal roll cage
Rhino lined interior
Rocky Road Rock Crawler bumpers
Swing away tire carrier
Safari Rack
8" SPOA
35" Super Swamper Boggers
Black Rock Crawler rims
Mega Crawler T-Case
Weber Carb.
Black Diamond Plating
Detroit Lockers

I am sure there are tons of other stuff that I have forgotten to mention. I plan to start my build- up this summer.

Wheelin' pics soon to come.

hey sorry for the delay on the reply to your post. I love my sammy and hope you enjoy building yours up. If i were you i would get the yj kit from rocky road. i like rocky road's kitt because i can still run my aftermarket bumper which you cannot do with all of the other kits. my drivetrain is still stock but i am looking for a t-case. it actually turns the 33's ok enough to drive around the city

You were asking about the calmini bolt on spoa, i like it very much. It is tough and can really take the abuse. However, Calmini sucks really bad when it comes to customer service and support. they didn't even want to honor their own price they had in the current magazine ad. I had to argue with them for about an hour just to get them to honor their advertised price. Talk to people, i have heard many stories about their crappy customer service, good product though. Any ways no mods to my T-case yet and she is slower than pond water because of it. You can definatly wait for the T-case until after you get the spoa, wheels and tires unless you plan on driving it anywhere far. I flat tow mine everywhere. Anyways have fun, this is the best part, building it up. Oh yeah check out petroworks.com they also deal with sammy stuff and are a great bunch of guys. they will help you with anything you will ever need regarding a sammy. Anything. Ask for rudy or gary. if you need anything shoot me an email hemmerhead@hotmail.com
