I need to find rear window louvers for cheep, those are my next big investment.

hatchbackZ1986's 1986 Chevrolet CamaroThese are images of my 1986 Camaro Z/28, it has a 5.0L H.O. 305ci. engine. with 190 HP (carbourated). It's a decent car, I have it as a "rolling project", it's perfectly drivable and passes all inspections, but I'm creating this into the perfect Z. The hood-louver broke off when i was crusing the turn pike. I wasn't expecting it and it scared my girlfriend and I. My rims are alloys. Stock alloys. That's me in the car. I was starting it up so my friend could hear the engine. He used to have a camaro 25th Anniversary Ed., and he's also looking for a new one that he can buy.

hatchbackZ1986's 1986 Chevrolet CamaroI made that "CAMARO" decal my self in my high school graphic production class. I put it on too all by myself. Sometihng like that would have cost me almost $100. I'm also planning on custom stripes starting behind the louvers. I have a friend named Cyrus, who I helped with a decal like that for his car, a 1990 Buick Century. We put his name on the same place as me "CAMARO". He is also doing side stripes with flames on the rear quarter panels.

A good side-view of my F-body, and my 305 H.O. (which I recently changed the oil.) The A/C needs recharged, so right now I have 265 A/C (that's two windows rolled down, going 65mph). Very clean engine. The guy I bought it off of kept it in great condition. hatchbackZ1986's 1986 Chevrolet CamarohatchbackZ1986's 1986 Chevrolet Camaro

The Firebird is a 1979 and is my project car. It has a 4.9L 301ci. engine with 145HP (carbourated). The Monte Carlo is a 1985 and is my friend, Larry's car. It's the same engine as mine the H.O. 305ci, 190 carb. HP

These are pictures of my friend, Doug's 1982 Camaro Sport Coupe, it needs some work, but he'll be getting done with it soon. It has a 2.5L L4 engine with about 90 HP. It has Electronic Fuel Injectors. (EFI) and has T-Tops.

HAHA, I laughed when I saw his rims. They were painted red. and the tires have white walls. A classic "camaro" emblem for the side.

This is his hatch, the window was replaced and there is no wing now in the center. His interior is as about as good as my Firebirds. This is what happens when you buy old cars.

Yes, That says "Jesus Saves" on the license plate. The car was sold to him by a pastor/youth leader at his girlfiriends youth group. It was his sons until he let it go to pot. It's sitting on jacks for now. The summer should be an interesting one. we have two cars that need restored. His Camaro and my Firebird.

-----end.

Hey this should be news to you and many other 1986 Camaro owners. Check the eighth digit of your car's vin number and if it is G (which indicates that your car has the L69 engine option) and also 1 of 74. I have 1 and hopefully you have one too. go to www.f-body.org/tech/tech.htm to find out more. Like to hear back from you on your results.
