My new boost gauge

62626's 1992 Mazda MX-6

This is a DIY, if you have a original eprom and a remaped eprom you can easy change from one to the other with a simple switch, schematics say all that you need, dont forget you need a program to join the 2 files in order to get the 256+256= 27c512 Eeprom working.
Any question just ask.

This is working for me, it should work for you also.
It is a simple way to change from original EPROM to the remap one.

You just have to make some soldering nothing special.
And with a simple touch on a switch place anywhere you change from normal drive (original BIN file) to race chip (a remap one).
Later I will post a way to simple control the maximum boost at the same time.
Example on the original boost you run the original program, on the 14PSI or more you run the changed program, in this way you will not run 14psi on original or 9psi in a remap chip (that have more gasoline and advance on spark tables)

Materials___-

1x 74ls00N or equivalent
1x 27c512
2x 10k Resistor 1/4w
1x switch 3 contacts
some wires
1x original bin file
1x changed bin file
other things
a EPROM burner and you need to join the 2 bin files
The car dont feel the switch change and the CPU will start to read the new maps.
It is safe to do this if you have some electronics knowledge, if not ask to someone that can do it for you.

Good daily drive or (!) RACE DRIVE
