This is my 59 I picked up in January 2004. I found the car online, emailed the owner, and set up a meeting to look at and drive the car.

The car was in Boise Idaho, and I was moving from Alaska to California, so after a little side trip to Boise, I was the new owner.

The car was an original 348 California built Sport Coupe. The big block is long gone, and in it's place is a strong running 383 stroker. I'll go through the motor, but it'll pretty much stay the way it is now.

The interior is in good shape, and the rest of the car is fair. It needs work, but I hope to be done by next summer. I hope to build this car a little retro and a little modern, but time will tell how it actually turns out. The plan is white exterior with baby moons or ralleys, charcoal interior with original door panels and headliner, with modern guages. Should be cool when it's done. Maybe go with 18's or 20's for rims...so many cool way's to go. Oh yeah, it's gonna have flame throwers when it's done too.
