5.4 Liter 302.

the1stwargod's 1977 Ford Mustang

My current 302 is the 332" stroker motor pictured here. Parts in this engine include a solid lifter camshaft, TFS bracket heat heads with o-ring headgaskets, Victor jr. intake, 750 BG Race Demon carburetor, MSD distributor with 6-AL box. 1972 302 block magged, deburred, oil returns enlarged and smoothed, decked, bored to 4.030", and drilled/tapped for 1/2" head bolts. Crankshaft is 3.25" stroke billet-steel unit with large radius fillets, rods are eagle H-beam 5.5" long, with full floating wrist-pins, pistons are JE ultralight forged. Deckheight is zero, compression is 10.95:1. A steel mainstud girdle helps hold the lower end together for a max of 8500rpm. Oil pump is a melling 90psi model with 30% increased volume, pump driveshaft is a forged SVO part.
The 332 incher produces approximately 530hp @7400rpm on premium pump gas.

Check out page 3 to see how I managed to fit the 17" Cobra wheels under the car.
