What's Crackin, guy's just wanted to see if you guy's were feeling the ideal that I had for a 72 Monte Carlo. This project started out as just something to drive on a good sunny day and became a major project.I first wanted to race the Monte but I'm not really a racer so I kill that ideal then I began looking in hot rod books to see what people where doing to Monte's but couldn't find any so that answer my question. It has some of the best stuff that I could find starting with a big block 454
bored and stroked to make 468 with roller cam 10:1 compression (pump gas) Federal Mogul performance pistons,arp reized big block chevy connecting rods, performance bearings, cloyes tru-roller multiple-index timing chain pre-a-star performance water pump,melling oil pump set of d-port big block heads with 2.19' Manley stainless steel exhaust valves alongwith comp cam 7/16' roller-tip rocker arms springs and retainers and dress with as much chrome and billet aluminum that I could fix under the hood .Tweed and leather interior
House of Colors Tangelo pearl and aztec gold pearl paint
all Hotochkiss suspension Eibach lowering springs 1-1/2' up front& 1'in the rear for softer ride 13' Bear brakes with 2'drop spindles all stainless steel brake lines
then came the fun part putting those big ass rims under the car Budnik Pentacles billet aluminum 20x9 up front and 22x11 in rear rapped in Nitto 555 tires
the rearend was recondition with a new posi. and Richmond 3:08 gears
the sunroof is always a nice feature with full one- touch power system
The exterior sheetmetal was worked to perfection by Skip's CUSTOM's
there was a new tranny added to the Monte a 350 turbo with B&M shift kit and 2,800 stall
