this will be the history of my Mazda RX-4 / 929 coupe 1977 renovation.

I placed V6 2.9i ford engine. (want to put maseratti V6 biturbo 240HP, 340Nm. didn't fit :(((( )

exhoust. there is some problems - manifold is verry close to steering box.

Gearbox - Ford gearbox is controled by cable - i placed hydraulic cylinder.

also i'm upgrading brakes. here is some pictures:
mazda brake disc (too small) and volvo 240 calliper on BMW brake disc (some fiting problems) so i choose Mazda rx7 S4/5 4 pot callipers, and Nissan Silvia S13 rotors 280mm (picturs soon)

looks good. it needs a lot of work.
clutch, fuel line. drive shaft (from gearbox to rear axle...

some upgrades i made:
fuel line (now it runs!!!)
clutch (hydraulic)
drive shaft
radiator. still waiting for fan.

next upgrade - exhaust system.
interior, wheels, paint. and lots of other work :(

Exhoust is perfect. sounds good, verry good :D
Still need bumpers from mazda rx4/929 75'
Waiting for grille to be shiped from australia.
Then Wheels, interior, and painting, and, and....

brakes. finaly found the best pair of calliper and brake disc - mazda rx7 S4 calliper with nissan Silvia S13 brake disc.

New wheels, engine is running perfect, brakes are verry good.
waiting for some parts to come. Almost all parts are comming from Australia, Bumpers, bonnet, fenders from Sweeden.
Looks like i will paint it in spring. Need a little bit lowering :)

Body works:
all parts (bumper, grille, bonnet, fenders) are aligned together.

2008 02 04 Now i have 66% of Lithuanian mazda 929 coupe :)
bought another body. 1975 929 coupe. Boght it for spare parts, but what i found was amazing - full interior (verry good) quite good body. has rusts in rear wheel arches, sills, no suspension, engine, g box, doors. just body with full interior.

Hope it will look like this...

Some good progress. prepainted, hope in one month will be painted.
