I own a 1992 Limited Edition Firebird. It has a 305cid 5.0 litre engine, I wish it was a 350 but you know how that goes. I eventualy want to bore it to a 383 stroker but that is in the far future. NEW\UPGRADE PARTS: Holly flow tech headers, custom exhaust 3" pipes with a two chamber flowmaster with no cat, new rear end, new: alt., starter, Edelbrock elite air filter, water pump, crome water pump neck, thermostat, belts, O2 sensor, distributor, fuel filter, fuel pumpx2, fuel tank, headliner, Temp. sensor, Firestone SH30's, Legacy head unit, Alpine amp, Pioneer 4 way 6x9's, and 3 way Pioneer 4x6's .
I just replaced my engine, I replaced the top half and put brand new heads on it. That was before I found out I had a bad cylinder so I ripped out the whole thing and bought a new 305 Crate motor. Some would say I was crazy because I bought the car for $1000 and have put in close to $8000 in repaires and restoration. Trust me when I say it could blow up and burn and I would weld and bondo the entire car before I even thought of selling it. This is my first car and my baby. I have owned a 1984 MR2, 1986 Mustang, 1993 Eclipse GS, 1984 Dodge pannel van and, I bought a 2004 Aniv edition Mustang. Above all the firebird will always be #1 and my favorit.
I was in my second car show, the Gnat Nationals, 5/21/04in Bay ST. Louis Mississippi sponsored by the Missfits Street Kewzers. It was a blast! She wasn't the bell of the ball but she still a beauty. I was just in my third car show at Salmen High as a fund raiser. I won a plaque by a sponsor that liked my car. I was also asked to join car club which will reamain nameless till all is said and done. Over all things worked out really well. It was alot of fun and I can't wait till the next one!
If anyone has tips on what I can do to make my car better. By all means let me know please. I have nursed her along way but she still has a long way to go before we are done. It may take awhile but, by the time I die I should be alomst finished with everything.
If anyone has a qustion/comments feel free to leave them in my book and I will write you back. If anyone wants info about a open show or anything let me know and I can get back to ya.
