***UPDATE 4/22/05:
Wow, its been a LONG time since I updated. Well since the last update not too much has happened but some little things. We got the fuel lines fixed of course and the car is running nice. We got the big exhaust system replaced because it was rusting badly. We replaced it with a Bursch exhaust system which was kinda cheapy. It isnt stainless steel so it is already surface rusting. In the future we might try to get a B&B stainless-steel After-Cat exhaust for it. Also a while ago I bought a performance throttle cam the increases the throttle response a lot. It was only like 25 bucks so it was a bargain. We never got a chance to install it so we should be doing that sometime this spring/summer (I'll post pics of them in a couple of days). I bought new Rennline Racing Pedals for my dad for his b-day. They were 185 bucks but they are really nice! They have a heel and toe extension that makes it easier to heel-toe. It came with a dead pedal and I got them powder coated black. We will install them soon(pics at the bottom of the page). Me and my dad plan on getting DOT legal slicks for Autocross and DE events. We still dont know what wheels were going to mount them on. My dad thinks we should mount them on the 15x6 little phone dials because he doesnt want to get new wheels just to mount the slicks on. I would agree with him but 15x6 is a small wheel for what we wanna do. The car already has enough understeer... we need wider tires in the front to over make it grip better. Its really hard to find wheels for old 924S's so it doesnt look hopeful. But if anyone has an idea please let me know! Our digi cam has been broken for awhile but we FINALLY got it fixed so when we go to events I can take pics. There are updated pics on page 3! Check it out!

***UPDATE 6/8/04:
Last week we took the car up to NHIS (New Hampsire Internation Speedway) when we noticed the cars fuel lines had a leak. We decided to try to make it there and we figured someone at the event could help us fix it. Well we didnt fix it exactly but we replaced some of the lines. Well today we dropped the car at Musante Motorsports again to get the wheel spacers, wheels, and fuel lines fixed. They are now on and look great! Pics on page 3!

***UPDATE 5/20/04:
Musante Motorsports installed the swaybars, springs, shocks, and air filter, but they wheels didnt fit. The front wheels rubbed against the hub. We need to get 1/16 inch wheel spaces for the front wheels. We are getting them custom made by Musante Motorsports. They also said when the installed the "stock height" springs, it actually got lowered a little. The car is a lot stiffer in the front and is very responsive. Look on page 3 for update pics of the car.

***UPDATE 5/18/04:
We dropped the car off at Musante Motorsports in South Windsor, CT on Saturday. Today they said that they installed the Swaybars and the Springs. They still have to install the K&N Air Filter and the shocks. The Boxster rims came today too. We're going to take them to Musante Motorsports tomorrow to have them install them. Ill take pics after the car is back on Thursday.

Boxster wheels off eBay. 16x6 in the front and 16x7 in the rear. They are late offset 5 bolt wheels that fit any 924 or 944 nicely. They came with 4 Michelin Pilot SX tires (205/55/VR16 Fronts and 225/50/VR16 Rears).

AutoX924S's 1988 Porsche 924 220LB Stock Height Weltmiester Springs for the front. I didnt want to lower it too much because its already low enough.I dont know the stock spring stiffness for the 924s, but if you do please inform me...

AutoX924S's 1988 Porsche 924 KONI Shocks (yellow) for the rear. We already bought them for the front recently.

AutoX924S's 1988 Porsche 924 Weltmiester Ajustable Sway Bars. They go for $775 for the set f&r in Performance Products Magazine, yet we got them for $300!(UPDATE: They dont even make them for the 924S anymore!)

thanks for checkin out my old 924S. I sold it a year and a half ago. But I had a paintjob done to mine, let me tell you it was the best money I invested for looks. Wheels and springs were my next, but I sold it before that. I wouldnt suggest a cone filter like mine, unless you plan on cutting a scoop on the hood or some type of vent on the headlight. I wouldnt suggest switching to synthetic oils if youve ran regular oil because when I switched to full mobil1 synthetics my oil cooler gaskets went out and that is a pain to change. Good luck on the 924S, if you ever have any questions my AOL AIM name is TushickEndsHere

Thanks for checking out my 924s, yours is sweet also I like the Boxster Rims. The exhaust you asked about is a HKS it is 2 in and 2 1/2 on the exit. It does not sound like all those Hondas it has I nice low rumble plus it added a few ponies. Arnold
