1997 Toyota Corona Exsior:
"An Exsior with a touch of JDM"
I acquired this Corona a few days before I sold my 1993 Corolla XE EE100 sometime in March 2004. (Check out Page 5 for pics of my old Corolla).
Once upon a time, it was bone stock...
Below is a pic of my Corona when I got it over a year ago (all stock!).

-4 wheel disc brakes (ABS)
The Euro-spec conversion that never got finished...
Soon after I got it, I slowly started converting it to Euro spec (Carina E). This was as far as I went on my Euro setup, just a set of ARD rims, square tail-pipe finisher and of course, a pair of euro plates:
The slow JDM conversion...
But not even halfway through the Euro conversion, I suddenly had the urge to convert it to JDM spec instead (Gen2 Caldina front conversion to be specific). But up to now I still couldn't find a good price on the Gen2 bumps, so for the meantime I'm using the Exsior's stock extended bumpers (which surprisingly pairs up quite nicely with Gen2 Caldina headlights and grill). So for now it's more of a "Toyota Corona Exsior with a touch of JDM:
To emphasize the JDM look, I had to put my ARDs aside for a set of JDM Advan RC rims:
I had the seats, steering wheel, shiftknob and sidings re-upholstered using genuine leather. Here are some interior shots:
Clean look (without the plates):
My main priority is to set-up the audio/video system of this vehicle: Hi-Fi SQ audio setup complemented by a simple video setup that's capable of DVD/VCD playback.
I will not go for the 5.1 DTS route since my heart is still with good old "stereo" to accurately reproduce quality audio recordings.
Not much performance and exterior mods will be done.

***LATEST UPDATE*** : Put my ARDs back in the stock room and slapped in a set of Advan RC rims. Also uploaded pictures of my audio setup.
