dodgerampage's 1983 Dodge Rampage

This is my 1983 Dodge Rampage. The Rampage was only built from 1982 until mid-year 1984. This relatively rare vehicle has only 45,000 original miles and has only has only been in one family. It is the prospector edition. The engine is a 2.2 litre 99 hrspwr Dodge engine. It has an automatic transmission which uses up a lot of the available horsepower, but in a trip across most of Canada last summer it managed to average 35 miles per gallon at an average speed of 65 miles per hour with the AC on. The unibody construction and front wheel drive makes it very unique. The interior and power train is the same as the Dodge Chargers and Pymouth Turisimo? built during the same time frame. The truck, yes it is a truck, has no squeaks or rattles. It has a useful load of over a thousand pounds but loading it up reduces the weight on the front wheels greatly. Thanks for looking.

Did you know that the '84 Turbo Rampage that was featured in Hemmings Muscle Machines magazine has been listed on eBay? Item #220135404779.

I have a 84 rampage, with the 5 speed manual. The clutch mysteriously stopped engagin the other day, and i can not figure out why. Its a cable clutch so it wouldn`t be fluid. If u have any idea of what is wrong and how to fix it, please drop me a line. also, i need to replace the rack and pinion, so if u have any idea what work is involved in that, that information would also be appreiciated. thanks

Very nice. Just over a year ago, my dad bought my sister a Rampage just like yours - same year, same paint job. They are sharp little cars.

Very nice car. I have a rare seat combo that would look great in your car. My seat are the vinyl black with the silver inserts. I have the stock radio too, but the am/fm cassette 4 speaker system and it's actually pretty good. These cars were one of the first to have "custom size" in dash radio faces, so you will have to get a trim plate to make it fit properly.
Happy rampages and motoring.
