wrtallman's 1985 Cadillac Eldorado

What I REALLY enjoy doing is taking pictures! So call me up or send me an email. Let me know if you need pictures of YOU, YOUR ride, or ANYTHING ELSE for that matter!

Click here if you'd like to see a few of my most recent pictures.

A quick shout out answer to clavitos as to whether "..the back end is jacked up or not."? ...nope. I just finished washing it and the (stock) air shocks are inflated. Which BTW when you get to 72mph balanced and tuned, it has "ground effect" which is you can actually 'feel' it getting sucked down into the pavement! The engine smooooths waay out, you're floatin' on a cloud and cornering is AMAZING even in the crazy roads of Santa Cruz or Mt. Tamalpais. Flyin' @ 85+ down I5 or across Colorado becomes hmmmm :-) an experience! You can cruise all day @ 25mpg w/the AC blowin kold. Just one of the benefits of this model 'llac.

One of my latest projects is restoring this 1985 Cadillac Eldorado - Biarritz., to a "technologically modified" but as much "stock" condition as possible. Bought in March of 2004, with only 73k miles on it from a very nice Retired Air Force Colonel in San Jose, CA. I drove it back via Florida and it just rolled over 80k miles. All new tires, all new suspension system, all new stereo system and tinted the windows right up to the legal limit for driving around these here parts (or at least that's what Chuck told me at the Ziebart shop). In years past I have worked on a 1981 Biarritz (same color as this one) and a 1986 Garnet color Fleetwood Brougham. But this one is by far the choicest one to warrant all of the updates that I am planning.

Yep that's also my ever so trusty '93 Sedan DeVille parked right next to it, watchin' it's side and always ready to get me to where I need to be for getting a part or just running for groceries. She'll get her windoze tinted here too in the very near future, so don't go thinking that I've forgotten about her, cuz I haven't. Ya know you always have to have a reliable "runner" when you work on these oldsters.

Stay tuned I'll be posting more photo's shortly (like maybe tomorrow even).

Hey I Love the color, Mine started off the same but I changed the interior and top color to tan. Check it out. I also changed the hubcaps to a limited production wire wheel. Those wheels are
highly sought after. They were made only 2 years, 1983 and 1984.
I good set could go for about 10 g's. At any rate check out my
eldog and tell me what you think about my color change.
