Custom "Grant GT" walnut steering wheel. Custom locking console, & "junk-bunk" (storage behind seats), JVC am/fm/cd stereo w/remote & detatchable face, & upgraded factory type speaker system.
Aftermarket suspension upgrade includes HD front coil springs, HD rear leaf springs, Rancho Shocks and steering stabilizer.
Full-length diamond tread aluminum running boards, mud guards & rubber mudflaps, custom stainless steel rear bumper w/ cl. 3, 2.5" hitch receiver, 4 & 6 pin trailer plugs & Tekonsha electronic trailer brake controller, American Racing "outlaw" wide alloy wheels w/locks and new BFG P265-50-R15 tires.
California truck, very little rust, originally equipped with carbureted 2.8 V-6, converted to 3.1 MPFI V-6 from a 1991 Pontiac Firebird, including computer, emission controls and wiring.
Aftermarket high pressure electric fuel pump and fuel filter-fuel/water separator installed to feed injection system and keep injectors clean & trouble free.
Aftermarket high volume air inlet system with K&N filter.
Also installed oil cooler and remote oil filter mount (accepts large capacity common wix filter # 51515).Engine conversion was professionally completed in California under strick emissions laws.
"rebuilt title" issued in California, transferred to NewYork, and then Pennsylvania.
NYS inspected and approved, "rebuilt title" issued 2000. Currently passes the standard NYS safety inspection available at any NY garage registered as an inspection station.
Pennsylvania inspected and approved, "rebuilt title" issued 2004. Currently passes the standard PENNDOT safety & emission inspection at any PA garage registered as an inspection station.
Never driven on salt-covered roads, stored every winter.
Recently replaced brakes, rotors, ball joints, tie rod ends, electric fuel pump, electric radiator fan motor, heater core, water pump, automatic clutch linkage adjuster, alternator & battery. Clutch replaced in 2001, checked in 2004, T/O & pilot bearings replaced again at that time.
Also recently replaced campershell rear hatch supports and lock/latch mechanism.
