Here is an engine shot... it's a 355 10.5:1 with Vortec heads, Edelbrock intake & Headers, Pete Jackson Gear Drive and an Extreme Energy 262 cam. The emissions are all still there except the EGR and that is just because the Vortec heads don't have a provision for them. The carb is the origional Rochester Quadrajet but it has been upgraded for performance by SMI (Sean Murphy Induction). I have never dyno'd it but it should be around the 400 mark according to the Chevy High Performance engine that I copied. I did everything I could to keep this car complete with the emissions. It was harder but it was worth it!
The engine is mated to a custom 700R4 that ends up in the stock 10 bolt that has been upgraded with 3.73 gears. The exhaust has Headers, a Random Technologies High Flow cat and a Mufflex 4" mandrel bent exhaust with a 30 Series 4" race muffler from Flowmaster.
