I recently rebuilt my TBI unit and decided to show just how easy it is to do. I have pictures of all the different parts, as well as pictures of the modifications I did at the time.
These are pictures of how a stock TBI unit usually looks. Dirty, old, and ugly:
Front
Left side (driver's side)
Right side (passenger side)

Good view of injectors and stock TBI unit
These are pictures of all of the individual parts:
Fuel meter cover
Fuel meter body (AKA injector pod). As you can probably tell, this one is broken.
Injectors
Fuel line fittings and air cleaner stud
FPR (fuel pressure regulator) assembly
IAC valve (idle air control valve)
Two TPS sensors (throttle position sensor)
Here are pictures of a dissasembled TBI unit:

These are pictures of the TBI rebuild kit I bought:

All of the parts layed out
These are various pictures of the TBI unit assembled, and ready to go back on the vehicle

As for the modifications that I did, here they are:
Three pictures of the "ultimate TBI mods" on the left, compared to the stock unit on the right.
This is a comparison of a stock replacement injector spacer gasket and a 1/4" injector spacer I got from TurboCity.

And, these are some pictures of the custom AFPR that I made. It's just the stock FPR assembly with a 3/8-24 bolt threaded into it. This allows the fuel pressure to be adjusted with the whole TBI unit still attached to the vehicle. All you need is a wrench!
Bolt installed in FPR
This is how much I had to cut off of the 2" long bolt
This is what it looks like installed on the TBI unit
How it looks when installed on the vehicle
