One of the first things that made me give this vehicle a second look, was it's remarkable bold style. Granted; this first picture has a little extra special toning to it, but this car just
looks mean; front to back. There are many cosmetic things that one could do with this model car, due to the cab forward design and workability of the frame and body, and they are all in the works. What I have loved most however; is fine tuning the powertrain. For now it remains the family sedan on the outside, with the heartbeat of a true performace car.
It's funny to see the looks on the faces of some of the people that challenge me. I have won many a hole shot, and pulled away from just about every car I dared to skirmish.
I did get the pants beat off of me by the
sweetest WRX I have
ever seen the other day. There was no shame in losing to this car. This car was a masterpiece. It had been completely reworked from the ground up, even though it was brand new. The 22 inch gold plated rims gleamed, wrapped in low profile Pirelli rubber. The glint of red Rotora performance calipers and slotted rotors peeking out from the rims and accenting the metal flake blue paint as it strode down the four lane with a kind of regal authority.
The "coot---whoosh" of the 430 HP high output stage 2 STi turbo (with cats) barely even straining as it pulled away from me with graceful ease.
I just patted 'ole Prowess, and said, "better luck next time sweetheart."
She just purred and and took me home. Probably just as well, I could be a grandad any day now!
Well, at least we are humble in our losses.

I love the way this car handles! It's wide stance makes it a joy to corner. I loved it from the very first test drive, before any aftermarket stabilizers or struts were added, and I love it even more now.
The cockpit is just as amazing, being as ergonomic and comfortable as one could hope for in a sedan, without taking away from the performance car feel.
It's been off the road for some time, undergoing upgrades and repairs. I just placed her back on the road this week. I took my 18 year old son for a ride, and when we finished negotiating the local corkscrew, he said, "Dad, you just scared the he$$ out of me!"
Then he asked if he could take his girlfriend out in it that night. I just smiled. (Why should I say yes? He just got his own new car!) He has also declined a drag race. *sigh* Oh well.

Ole prowess and I are inseperable. We have been through hell together, and we have the special bond of being brought together by a very special person in my life. The man who raised me; my late amazing grandfather.
Pops, this redline is for you!!
She may not be a lightning fast import, and God knows I love 'em, but she'll do for now.
