Before driving this little car i assumed that these old civics were just normal old small cars, bad power, bad cornering, body roll everywhere. I took this one for a testdrive and found out it was quite different from the holden/opels and daihatsu's. Its old, but it has quite a bit of power (for a small 4cyl) and handles very well. With an upgraded suspension package and some sticky tires they are quite hard to beat, especially through twisting roads.

I bought my little GL 4 years ago, and it had the original tires, the spare had never been used. 52,000 on the clock (not bad for a 15 year old car), not a mark on it inside or out. Since then a few small dents have appeared thanks to people in carparks, and the rear demister had given up.

It has an Alpine deck, alpine mids and tweeters in the front (which take A LOT of stuffing around to fit in the doors), sony V-series 6x9s in the rear, and a custom 10inch Bazooka tube that takes up the boot.

I'll put some more pictures of the interior and stereo when i can be bothered scanning them.

hey i have an 85 civic like urs, and i was just wondering if u knew where the temp gauge is ment to sit when the car is warmed up? because mine seems to be running fairly cold, they gauge doesnt move alot, even after a long drive, and the gauge has nothing wrong with it so might be something to do with under the bonnet.
