tooocool49237's 1990 Pontiac Firebird This is my 1990 3.1L Firebird. It's a P.O.S. and the odometer just rolled on over to 210,000 miles.

What I know about the car's history...

The car was sold by Crapps auto in florida to someone for around $12,000 way back when it was new. After that, it ran for quite some time, and was sold to someone who was going to restore it. Unfortunately that someone owed someone else $2000, and didn't have the money to pay, so they paid with the bird. This third owner drove the car all the way up here, and sold it to me for the sum of $1500. I dont feel too ripped, because it is my first car, and i didn't really have to pay for it (thank you scholarships).

A little bit about me...

I'm 19 (just turned 19 yesterday, june 13th) live in northern michigan and love drifting. I first got into cars right before the first fast and furious movie, and was of course a honda fan. It wasn't too long that i learned the error of my ways and became a nissan guy. After switching camps to nissan, i soon discovered the art of Drifting, and fell in love. I knew that my first car HAD to be able to slide around a bit, and the 'bird was the only car that i could afford that was RWD.

Now, for the pics of my Ugly car...

I just bought a 2000 subaru impreza 2.5RS for winter, so the firebird has been put on hold until next summer when i get a job that pays enough to buy a new engine. The sixer is so old now that I dont trust it to get out of the driveway, letalone around town.

hi, I got the same exact car as you (black 1990 3.1L), and I'm trying to restore mine completely stock. I read that you're gonna be replacing your interior soon. If your interior is still in good shape, there are a number of things I'd be willing to buy from you. Also maybe any other parts you might wanna sell. Write me at my hotmail address, wehaveagig@hotmail.com, and let me know. Thanks. Steve

sup, this is 90firebird... I got your message and i'd like to say its awesome that you are into drifting, I am too. I am in the process of looking for a beater thirdgen to use as a drifter car, but currently have no experience under my belt... i dont wanna fuck up my 90. I read that you're into s13's also, which is cool; they are great drift cars. just to let ya know, there are two serious thirdgen drifters in hawaii and they have a website for domestic drifters: www.powerslideways.com. i dont wanna sound like i'm preaching to you or anything, but thirdgens can be made into good drift cars due to the abundance of aftermarket components... it'd be cool to see another person drifting their thirdgen. well, sorry for the long ass post... later.
