FORD MOTOR CO BRA

I bought a bra from Ford for use when I travel on the freeways between cities. I don't keep the bra on all the time. Just during long trips to minimize the peppered effect from rock chips.

Attaching the bra is really simple. With the hood open, the hood piece slips on the forward edge of the hood. There are two bungee cords with hooks on the end that fasten to the frame for the hood hinges.

The bottom piece is installed starting from the pointed end above the headlamps. You have to push the headlamp down to get a little gap between the headlamp and the quarter panel. The pointed end hooks in, and the rest of the bra is hooked and cliped on. No permanent holes are made.

The bra has a colored "Mustang GT" logo on the hood piece, and a "Ford" logo stamped on the sides of the bumper piece.

I held out for a few months but finally installed the front license plate. There's a removable section in the bottom piece so it doesn't cover your plate.

Cost: $229.67

LOWER GRILL BLACK OUT

I always thought the two braces in the lower grill looked odd. I wanted to paint them black to hide them but I didn't know if it would look right. So, I got a roll of black duct tape and taped over the braces. I think it looks a lot cleaner. See for yourself. Before and after pics below.

Nice tips. I like the 3.5" it fills that hole much better. Rolled edge is the only way to go. I am changing mine to 3.5" rolled edge and I ran across your page =)

Nice Stang! www.MustangSequencers.com: You should think about getting sequential tail lights.

Nice ride. Very informative write ups as well, you should write for a mag or website. Would love to hear a "how to" on launching an auto tranny from your perspective..

not a bad dyno for the minimal amount of mods. and i wouldent get longtubes until u are almost done modding your car or already have alot of mods, b/c they cost alot and the end return on HP isnt that much. underdrive pulleys are very effective and maybe run u 150 bucks. they can raise ur HP anywhere from 8-14hp, which is what the longtubes MIGHT do but at a waay higher price. also, if ur looking to get a really really loud cat-back go with SLP loudmoth I..it will wake the dead...later
