CAN I BORROW YOUR BOYFRIEND?
I was standing in line at Autozone one day and I was looking at a bunch of bumper stickers to kill time. I saw this bumper sticker that read "CAN I BORROW YOUR BOYFRIEND?" and I was thinking, that would be funny on a girl's car.
Whaam! An idea hit me.
Why not put this on my friend's truck? Not a female friend, but a male friend. I didn't want to be a total ass and risk scratching my friend's bumper so I had to make it temporary. But how? The gears in my head started turning and another idea came to mind. I bought the sticker and went to Office Depot for one of those sheet magnets. I stuck the sticker on the magnet and did a little trimming for a perfect fit. Then, when I leaving work the next Monday, I casually stuck the magnet onto his truck's bumper. By the next day, everyone at work knew about it, except the victim. People that left for lunch came back snickering. It was awesome. We could just imagine the looks he was getting on the freeways of the Dallas/Fort Worth metro area.
My friends and I planned an after work trip to Hooters that Thursday. Amazingly, we had a great turn out that week. Almost everyone showed up. We were all anxious to see the look on the victim's face when we leave the restaurant. We all got quiet as we watched him pull into the parking lot then back into a spot. Oh no! He won't see the sticker. But that also means it will go on for another day.
He finally saw the sticker when he and his wife were out and about the following Saturday. His wife noticed it first and pointed it out. He didn't think it was funny at first, I'm sure.

The sticker lived on for a few months. It was getting passed on to everyone's car. We all got into a habit of doing a walkaround inspection before leaving the parking lot at work.
To this day, the victim is still pulling pranks on me to get me back.

MY CAR MADE IT INTO A MAGAZINE!!!
Mustang Enthusiast magazine has a column where people can send in tech tips and if they publish your tip, you get a t-shirt. Well, I sent in the following tip and got a t-shirt.
5.0 Mustangs and Super Fords' Q&A section printed my mail in question in the March 2006 edition. Sort of a lame response, but oh well.
