Upgraded the Deputy's old 4 speed 833 to a 833OD tranny- had it rebuilt and it works like a champ! Old milage was about 12-14 mpg if I didn't hit the petal to bad.
First trip to Toronto with the new 833OD and return cost about $27.00 for gas. Normally this would be around at least $40.00!!!!
Next!!! picked up a 1973 Road Runner for my son. 340/4 speed with a 3:55 suregrip in the rear. Lots of NOS stuff came with it. Will have to cut the rear quarters off and part of the rear clip ( d**m Ontario winters-salt!!!) but since the whole engine, tranny, front end is already done- it's just the typical body stuff to do!!!!
