All my old mopars-Dusters, Cuda and Chargers had a night time identification to them. Since we live in the country and others in the town, we always pass each other not knowing who was who! So my beasts always had some type of front end lighting to them for others to see. The Deputy is no exception. Thought of lighting up the grill area but done that before on the Cuda- but always wanted to do the hood nostrils. So thats what I did- took some 9" blue neon tubes and mounted them up high in the opening so you can't see them in the day. Spray chromed the inside of the metal opening and made a black screen mesh to prevent bugs and crap from going in the engine compartment.
Here is the result! I like IT!!!!!

Since my DODGE emblem was gone in the front grille- I got one made from my sister who laser engraves for a living.
