Welcome to my page. My truck! My truck is a 96 Z71. Lift mods: -6" suspension -3" body Tires: -38x13.5x16.5 SSR Performance mods: -MAF descreen -Throttle blade Exhaust: -Flowmaster 40 series Other upgrades: -14 bolt FF -Slip yoke eliminator -1350 rear yoke -1330 t-case yoke 4.5" driveshaft Mods yet to be done: -Dana 60
Front side. The other side. Just another angle. This is what I am replacing, weak 10 bolt with 4.56s. This is what I am replacing it with STRONG 14 bolt FF. Dont have any pics before I painted it. 14 bolt with disk brake brackets installed. Disk braks installed. HD diff cover. The outside ring is made of 1/2" steel and the rest is made out of 3/8" steel. Not breaking that! Almost done. T-Case with the new slip yoke eliminator kit installed. T-Case installed. Stock axle removed. Looks like the truck is floating:) First mock up. Trying to get pinion angle set. Another angle. With all welding done (spring perches, shock mounts, and brake line tabs) and the brakelines fitted, it's ready for more paint. 14 bolt install complete!!! Here is a couple pics of the front bumper trimming. Here is a couple pics the the front fender trimming. DEBADGED!!!!! In case you were wondering why there are two different wheels!? It's because they used to be 6 lug now they are 8 lug. The front end is going to be getting a Dana 60. I will keep you updated! Oh, by the way this is in no way a show vehicle. It is built to function!!!!!
UPDATE All of the dana 60 stuff was stolen and the truck is on hold for a while. Hopefully I will be able to find another 60 and finish it soon.
You have to check out my buddies Blazer you can see my truck in the backgound of one of the pictures. I'm the guy taking the picture he's the guy standing behind me. By the way, the picture of him and I was taken straight into his door. That thing is SHINY (later that day it rained on it though). It's a black 2001 extreme blazer. His name is Shawn.
