This is my 95 S10 Blazer i bought about a year a go. Over the course of the last year i put a 3" custom suspension on, but many of my gay independent suspesion parts were becoming wore out. So i decided to just spend the money and make it how i wanted to. A month and a half were spent cutting and grinding off the old axles and building some key suspension components.

My friend and I put a jeep Dana 30 axle off a cherokee in front and a ford 8.8" rearend out of an Explorer.(Stock Locker) Made a custom leaf pack in the back with a 3" block and some shackle lift, then threw on the Rancho traction bars off of a short wide chevy. In front we bolted on a set off 8" Skyjacker lift springs for the rear of a Cherokee. We found the Chevy steering box did not have enough rotation for the new axle, amazingly a gearbox out of a 94 jeep cherokee bolted right in!! Then built a few shock mounts and little gussets and a cross member to strengthen everything up a bit. With the suspension all done and having chevy rims and 30x9.50 tires with 14" of lift didnt quite do it justice. So I purchased a set of 15x10 Eagle alloys and rapped a set of 36x13.50 Super Swamper Irok's on them. Mounting courtesy of Costco! That was 2 years ago! since then the blazer has got full width axles and 39 pitbull rockers check out page #9 for pics!!

Just really good to see a cool tuff lookin' 4X4 not just posing but doing what it's built for ... 5***** from me ... keep having fun & keep the shiny side up (when possible).

how are those rockers holding up, i have heard from many people with pitbull rockers that they get chewed up pretty bad and have a weak sidewall and are known for blowouts, are they worth the price
