1999 Nissan Altima GXE
May 12, 2009: I HAVE COMPLETLY RE-DONE THE CAR BUT IM NOT POSTING UP PICTURES UNTIL ITS DONE. THE CAR HAS BEEN FEATURED AT THE MOTOR TRENDS MAGAZINE AUTO SHOW 2 MONTHS BACK AND IMPORT TUNER HAS SPOKEN TO ME ABOUT WHAT I NEED TO COMPLETE FOR A FEATURE. FROM FALL OF 2008 UNTIL TODAYS DATE; THE COMPLETE INTERIOR HAS BEEN REDONE. NO MORE LV INTERIOR. IT IS ALL BLACK AND SILVER. THERE ARE NOW 15 MONITORS ALL IN CUSTOM PLACES; 5 AMPLIFIERS AND 22 SPEAKERS ALL FIBERGLASSED IN. FROM THE CARPET TO THE ROOF HAS BEEN COMPLETLY REDONE. THE TRUNK IS THE SAME FOR THE MOST PART; JUST RE-WRAPPED SOME PIECES FROM LEATHER TO SUEDE. ADDED STILLEN HEADER AND FULL 2.5' EXHAUST. ADDED POLY MOTOR MOUNT INSERTS AS WELL. DID A GOOD AMOUNT OF MOTOR DRESS UP. I JUST PURCHASED 36 WAY FULLY ADJUSTABLE RACING COILOVERS, BIG BRAKE KIT FOR THE FRONT AND A DRUM TO DISC CONVERSION FOR THE REAR. IN 2 WEEKS I WILL HAVE MY CARBONFIBER TRUNK AND THAN THE CAR GOES INTO THE SHOP FOR CARBONFIBER OVERLAY ON THE ROOF AND MIDDLE OF THE FRONT AND REAR BUMPERS. THATS RIGHT...OVER 50% WILL BE CARBONFIBER. THE REST OF THE CAR IS GETTING PAINTED A HOUSE OF KOLOR SILVER PEARL WITH SILVER FLAKE. IN THE WINTER GOES THE MANUAL SWAP AND TURBO SET-UP. THAT SHOULD BE ENOUGH TO LAND IT INTO THE MAGAZINE. I WILL KEEP YOU ALL UPDATED. AFTER I HAVE THE COILOVERS AND BRAKING SYSTEM DONE; I WILL POST PICTURES. THAN WHEN I GET THE PAINT AND CARBONFIBER WORK ILL POST THE REST.

Well, I figure I'd start out with a little introduction about myself and my Altima and than get down to the mods that have been done to the car. My name is Gregg, Im 26 and I live in New Jersey. This car here is my pride and joy. This car wasnt my original car, but I helped build it. I had a 95 Grand Prix that I was building up and customizing; doing all the work myself. A now ex friend of mine had this Altima and liked what I was doing so he decided to start doing some things to his Altima, but he didnt know much about aftermarket parts and accessories. So, I had the knowledge and he had the money; great combo. I basically gave him advice on what to buy for his car and he bought it. One thing led to another and about $20,000 later, you see what has been done. Right when everything was completed, I blew the transmission in my car. Suprisingly, at that same time, he wanted to get rid of the Altima, so I ended up buying the car I helped build. Let me know what you think about it. Thanks for looking!
