UPDATE: I traded the R/T in on my new Kia Rondo. With 121,000 miles on the clock, the Intrepid served me well for many years. I hated to see her go, someone out there will probably enjoy thousands more miles in her...she was in good shape and had so many major components replaced!.
My daily driver is a 2000 Dodge Intrepid R/T. I chose this car because I needed reliable transportation and a back seat for my daughter, but I still wanted some power and handling. What I really wanted was an M5 or S55, but I was $50,000 short on cash!

The R/T is not a bad substitute. It has the big wheels & tires, upgraded suspension and brakes, 3.5L H.O. engine and an auto-stick. Not as good as a true manual, but not bad. Inside, it has a power sunroof with vent, leather seats, power drivers seat, cruise, cd player, power everything...all the sports-sedan stuff you would want.

I have added a K&N FIPK kit and a Valentine One. I will do some more engine work, but I avoid wings, graphics and bling-bling wheels. I like to keep under the radar and that's tough enough in a bright red car!
