Rob's Immaculate Astra GSi 16V 6-Speed
Hi all, I own a MK3 Astra GSi 16V of which I have done quite a few mods to.
(WHOLE CAR SPEC ON PAGE 2)
Its a 1992 (C20XE) engine, running about 195BHP & 178lbft Torque at the moment, Its a bit of an Animal in the wet, but the Yoko's do their best!
I have had a 6-speed gearbox conversion from Regal and have managed to hit 158MPH on the Track!
I'm thinking about going to Throttle Bodies later in the year, but not sure yet!
A funny (not really!) thing happened to me the other week while on my way home through the country lanes, and that was, the foam element in my Pipercross Viper filter (?250 blimmin quids worth) ripped itself apart and got sucked up my induction pipe and got mashed into the airflow meter, NOT IMPRESSED!!!!
Just added a Uprated Fuel Pressure Regulator (Power Boost Valve) for increased fuel pressure and it has made a nice difference on throttle responce..
