Hi to all, this is a doubt i always had about the VIGORs that we all own; WHATS THE REAL POWER OUTPUT OF THIS AMAZING G25A ENGINE??

vtuner4ever's 1993 Acura Vigor

Here are some pages thats says the Vig runs on 176HP (131kW) and 170 ft-lbs of Torque:

WIKIPEDIA

CONSUMERGUIDEAUTO

EDMUNDS

**BUT this page specifies all Honda/Acura Engines Specifications:

GARAGE507

NOW THIS LEAVES ANOTHER QUESTION: IF THE VIG REALLY HAS 190HP, WHAT SHOULD BE THE REAL AMOUNT OF TORQUE AND kWs?

LOOK AT THESE PAGES AND ANSWER MY POLL...

NOW Here is my Stock Acura LS 2.5 VIGOR

This is pic of the vigor when it was repaired in 1996

vtuner4ever's 1993 Acura Vigor

We bought it in december 1995 crashed front and back (bumpers, Lights, hood and trunk damage)

After 15 years since it was manufactured, until now it has only 157.000 KMS and no expensive maintenance (Timing belt and new gaskets all over to prevent oil leakage)

Now the A/C failed and the suspension and brakes asking to be replaced, but hey look at the service the car gived all these years..!

Hey so I just got my first vigor about a month ago. I loved it to death. Still do for the most part. But if you ever have to put a clutch in it be ready. So I am installing a stage 2 clutch by spec right now. While doing so I went ahead and replaced the rear mainseal, trans out put shaft seal, pinion seal, oil pan gasket, and axle seals. If you do the clutch go a head and do as much as you can. Because the way the engine is set up you have to drop the sub-frame to do anything on the bottom have of the engine. so if you see and oil leak get ready for a long haul. Mine is pushing a little over 200 whp right now but I hope to push close to 300 after I have the head ported and polished and rebuild the bottom end to hold up to the power. I have torn this beast all the way down aso if anyone has questions about anything hit me up and I will help to the best of my abbilities. I also know alot of after market vendors for parts if you need help.
