We started with a N/A engine that had a blown head gasket. We rebuilt the motor and soon after that, the oil pump locked up and we spun the main #3 piston rod bearing.
He then bought a 7M-GTE motor off ebay and rebuilt that to include a bored out compressor wheel (60 trim) and put a R154 transmission with it.
He then decided it needed a paint job. The back fenders were cut out due to excessive rust and new front fenders were ordered. Some welding and lots of sanding were neccesary and in about 7 months and $6,000 this is what happened the car is almost complete.
Here is part of the custom paint-job that was done in his own garage.
