My car was built at GM's assembly plant Ste Therese Quebec the week of March 27, 2000. It rolled down the assembly line Wednedsday, March 29-30th.
GM's VIS Component that traces each major component through the build process (See pics pg 6):

Engine Number 000830740 - Built at St Catharine's, Ontario
Transmission Number 012099 - Built by Tremec in Mexico
Rear End Number 080072355 - Built by Saginaw in Buffalo, NY
Manifest (Build Sheet) Note fleet #6142 which was SLP's build number, and SLP Birth Certificate:

It was delivered to SLP's LaSalle plant to be finished as a "SS". It arrived there March 31st and was completed there in early April. It was purchased from Polar Chevrolet in White Bear Lake, MN on May 22, 2000.
The following is GM's Summary of the selling dealer, in-service date, and warranty history
(Note no warranty claims, just initial PDI done at SLP):

The car was originally leased, as Chevrolet had a subvened low-rate lease on Camaro's that summer.
The lease was paid off on August 22nd, 2003 with only 2301 miles.
As of April 18th, 2004 the car has ONLY 3187 MILES!

Minnesota is not a great place for rear wheel drive, sports cars, or convertibles to live their lives as daily drivers. This car has lived as a third or fourth car its whole life, and only comes out when it is very nice. It spends winters under the factory SS car cover in a heated garage.
It has never seen a snowflake, raindrop, or puddle. In fact, it is rarely washed because it doesn't get dirty...a light dusting and Zaino spray is all it usually needs.
It has NEVER had any warranty work, and nothing has ever broken. It has NEVER had any collisions or paintwork. Zero door dings. No scratches. There are only a couple bolts that have ever been turned: The oil drain (Mobil One twice a year), the rear diff bolts(fluid change), and the license screws. This car is 100% as it left the factory.
