As far as the drivetrain goes, it has the 3.5L inline 5-cylinder (yes, it's a 5 cylinder) coupled to the 4L60E 4 speed automatic. This engine actually make pretty good power for what it is and can easily get the truck up to speed quickly. The addition of the K&N FIPK helped the motor breath easier and gave it a noticeable increase in power. A Gibson Cat-Back exhaust system gave the truck an increase in power as well as a deeper exhaust note. Now i'm just waiting on the aftermarket to catch up and get a Power Programmer released (Superchips, Hypertech, Diablo Motorsports). Who know, maybe one day a supercharger?
