1993 Toyota Surf SSR-X Turbo Diesel I'm currently in the United States Navy. Stationed at Naval Security Group Activity Misawa, Japan. I'm set to leave here in May 2005. Enjoy the pictures.
This is also known as a Toyota 4Runner in the states. But being in the US Navy and stationed in Misawa, Japan, 4Runners are called Surfs here. Another unique thing about this truck is the Turbo Diesel Engine. This engine is unavailable in the states. And I like this engine. If I had the chance, I'd get one of these for a 4Runner in the states.
Right now, those crappy tires are no longer part of my truck. Right now I have
33X11.5X15 Mud-Terrain BFGoodrichs. Some great Mud tires, and give my truck a little better look.
This probably the best mid-sized SUV in it's class. And probably won't be the last one I eventually own.
Currently I have a Kenwood KDC-X769 CD/MP3/WMA Deck. Going to have this installed shortly. After that, I am going to get some better speakers in the back, and then most likely a Kenwood 20GB Music Keg.
