This is my 2001 Grand Am GT. I bought it off a lease from a family member back in 2003, so I have driven it since it was bran new.

First mod I ever did to this car was a warm air intake, and after that I went a bit crazy.

Currently my mod list consists of.
-Doctor Speed Cold Air Intake.
-RSM 62MM Throttle Body.
-MSD 8.5MM wires.
-Ported and Polished Upper and Lower Intake Manifolds.
-Ported and Polished Heads with a valve job and .020 Decking.
-LS6 valve spring swap, witch includes Comp 100LBS springs, LS1 Shims, and Chrysler 318 valve seals.
-SI Stainless Steal Valves.
-S&S Headers.
-2.5 Inch SLP Exhaust Piping.
-Borla Muffler.
-DHP Powr Tuner PCM Tuning software.
-B&M 16000 Transaxle cooler.

My last 1/4th run was nearly 2 years ago, I ran a 14.96@90.3, witch a 2.3 60 foot. But that was with just the headers, head work and mocked up intake, on stock exhaust piping and a crappy flowmaster muffler.
But sadly this bottom end will only be in my car another few months. On a bright note, it will be replaced with an all new high compression camed bottom end. I'm still working out exactly what I want, but I?m thinking 11.5:1 compression with a pretty aggressive cam. My goal is 235WHP. And you never know I just might spray. (:

As for Appearance, I have not done a hell of a lot I need my front end repainted thanks to a trip though the mountains in the middle of the winter. Lighting mods include Silver Star's, and Blazertech 3200 driving lights.
